Shameka Beaugard, MSW is not only a community leader on the rise in LA County, she is also an overcomer of many trials in life. She has faced many roadblocks on the way to success, but nonetheless kept going! Like many of the youth that YWAP helps, Shameka too was a low income minority youth in the Antelope Valley.
At age 18, she lost her mom in college due to heart failure and her dad in grad school at age 25. She is now known for inspiring, motivating and empowering youth, young adults and people across America!
Despite life’s tribulations, Shameka is a USC graduate, Non Profit Consultant, Author, Motivational Speaker, Role Model and Mentor. Planting seeds of hope daily!
